On December 2nd. we have had the honour to be visited by Saint Nicholas and his assistant Black Peter. This odd couple arrived in a special way. They had chartered a motocross sidecar combination which drew a lot of attention in the village of Bergambacht and to our Company. Our customers and their children were very pleased to meet these old motorcycle friends from Spain.

Our great The Motorcycle Company Lottery is still in the running and has become the talk of the town in motorcycle circles, for where else can you win a real NORTON COMMANDO?
Our Company gives a 25% discount during December on many shop goods, a good opportunity to acquire clothing, helmets and so on at bargain prices.

We have had a good year with our company and we are doing our best to make 2001 even better with campaigns, meetings of motorcycle clubs and so on.

If you haven't seen the brand new ABSAF/BSA Gold Star engines in our showroom yet, then you seriously risk missing something very interesting, for they're not only beautiful to look at, but also of a superior quality.
These last months we have been selling many ABSAF/BSA Gold Star spare parts to customers who are updating their engines for the new season. And believe us, springtime is only a few months away! Therefore, don't hesitate to order your spare parts now.

Do you want to sell your bike but don't like time-wasters at your door or on the phone, then contact us. We can take your bike in consignment and we have the facilities in our showroom (as well as in our Newsletter and on the website) to show your bike at its best. Until now we have sold many classic bikes for our clients and we have made them many a good deal. Our conditions for selling your bike(s) are very reasonable. So contact us by E-mail or telephone.

The other way round can also happen and that is that you are looking for a classic bike that is hard to find.
So if you are looking for something special and you cannot find it, call or E-mail us and no doubt we can help you out. We have contacts all over the world and we can find the classic bike(s) of your dreams.

4. What bikes can we offer at the moment?
=====================================
Besides several BSA motorcycles like Gold Star in Clubman's' trim, Lightning, Thunderbolt and Golden Flash we have at the moment for sale in our showroom a brand-new 500cc Norton Manx (Molnar) Replica, better than new, built in 1998. This splendid specimen of the most famous racing bike ever built is the dream of many enthusiasts. This bike is not only a kind of art for you to look at in your living room but also it is a beautiful thing to ride this bike, for instance in race demonstrations. After World War II 17 Dutch championships were gained with Norton Manx racing bikes! Let alone of course men like Geof Duke, John Surtees, Mike Hailwood and others who have gained so many victories racing Manx Norton racing bikes. Of course we agree that a Norton Manx is not the bike that everyone can afford. Therefore we have another specimen of that famous make in our showroom and that is a Norton 650SS twin Cafe-racer with the following accessories:
back wheel with conical hub (Manx replica), front wheel with 4LS 230 mm Grimeca hub, alloy rims with Avon AM20 tyres, clipons with Doherty handles, alloy polished oil- and petrol tanks, engine and gearbox fully reconditioned (tuned engine), Newby beltdrive and clutch, custom made alloy beltcover, Hagon shocks, Boyer powerbox and so on.
Do you want an "American"? We have a rare Harley-Davidson XLCR Café-racer from 1977. This trimmed version of the massive Milwaukee V-twin delivers 61 hp and does a topspeed of about 190 kmh.
German minded? Then we have for you an authentic black BMW 500cc R50 boxertwin model, and as you know black is beautiful. From Italy we have several Moto Guzzis such like V7 Sport and Special, as well as 850 GT models.
Then we have a Yamaha SRX600, a valued Japanese modern classic echoing the days of the great British singles.

Of course this is only a small part of our collection. The best way to know more about the many motorcycles we have for sale and for consignment is to visit our Company. And ...there's always a cup of fresh coffee or tea around.

As we mentioned above our great THE MOTORCYCLE COMPANY lottery is the talk of the town in motorcycle circles. Not surprisingly so for where else can you win a real and fantastic
NORTON COMMANDO?

And that is not all, we also have a SECOND AND A THIRD PRIZE!
SECOND PRIZE: A CHEQUE WORTH DFL. 1000,--
to be spent in our shop.
THIRD PRIZE: A CHEQUE WORTH DFL. 500,--
to be spent in our shop.

This unique lottery is onlyto our customers, starting from October 1st 2000 up to and including March 31st. 2001.
We repeat: for every Dfl. 500,--, spent in our shop, during the months OCTOBER, NOVEMBER, DECEMBER, JANUARY, FEBRUARY AND MARCH, you will get a lottery ticket.

The purchase can exist of parts, clothing, helmets and so on but also a complete motorcycle.
So if you, for instance, would buy a classic motorcycle from The Motorcycle Company for an amount of Dfl. 9000,-- then you will get 18 tickets!
When during the aforementioned period you buy goods in our shop, you can save up the sales receipts. When you have reached the amount of Dfl. 500,-- you can exchange them in our shop for a lottery ticket.
For those customers who have bought a classic motorcycle in the year 2000 we have a special surprise, for they will also get the chance to win the NORTON COMMANDO. They will receive (or have received) for every spent Dfl. 2000,-- a free ticket! The notarised drawing of the winning numbers and the handover of the NORTON COMMANDO will be done by a Dutch motorcycle celebrity to the lucky winners.
This will take place in the course of the month of April, 2001 on a Saturday; the exact date to be determined later on.
Sales of motorcycles in consignment are (of course) excluded from the lottery.

6. December: DISCOUNT month at TMC!
===================================
The month December is TMC campaign month. Our discounts during this month amount to 25% and more and comprise our stocks of leather jackets, nylon jackets, AGV helmets, but also spark plugs, chains, bulbs, several Abus-locks, brakepads, batteries, and so on. Of course, our discount action lasts as long as our stock permits, and all your purchases count for our great lottery!
We are listening to our customers and therefore we intend in the near future to specialise in clothing (Bellstaf), helmets, boots and gloves, oils and lead substitutions (Castrol Miller and Bardahl).

We are glad to have become the sole representative for the provinces Noord-Holland, Zuid-Holland and Utrecht of the Helmet make DAVIDA. Davida is aiming to and making helmets for the riders of classic motorcycles and has Cromwell-model helmets and Jet- helmets. We can also deliver from Davida goggles and specialised lenses.

Suggestion: should you want to surprise your beloved or a friend with Christmas you will undoubtedly find a special present in our shop. And don't forget: we're having our discount-campaign in the month of December.
