09/09/2001 AUCTION OF CLASSIC MOTORCYCLES

AUCTION OF CLASSIC MOTORCYCLES
(A special one, we may say)
The TOP PRIORITY of THE MOTORCYCLE COMPANY will be, in the months to come, organizing an AUCTION OF CLASSIC MOTORCYCLES.

The start of this very special auction is on Saturday October 20th and ends on Saturday November 3rd at 2pm!

How this auction will work!?! TMC will auction off motorcycles, mostly fixer uppers and restoration projects. We will be striving to give meaning to the saying, "something for everyone".

Any one can place his or her motorcycle(s) up for auction.

These motorcycles will be sold in an "As IS" condition with out a guarantee. TMC will decide if a motorcycle, brought in by a third party, can be accepted to be put up for auction. The state a motorcycle is in and the reserve (minimum) price will play a part in this decision. The commission charged by TMC for motorcycles brought in by third parties will be 10% of the final sale price.

Motorcycles of third parties should be brought to TMC on Saturday October 13th at the latest- a week before the start of the auction period.

On every motorcycle, which is being put up for auction, there will be envelopes. In these envelopes will be forms on which the motorcycle description will be; the corresponding auction number, the minimum bidding price and room for the bidder to fill in his/her name, address, telephone number/ fax number/ E-mail address and the amount bid for the motorcycle.

After filling in this information, the bidder signs the paperwork, seals the envelope and delivers the envelope to the service desk in the showroom at TMC.

The envelopes will bed publicly on Saturday November 3rd at 2pm at TMC. The highest bidder will be the buyer, those not attending will be notified as soon as possible.

Motorcycles, which did not reach the reserve price (minimum bid), will remain unsold. Motorcycles sold or unsold have to be picked up by November 10th at the latest.

Please Note: The motorcycle(s) offered for auction, HAVE TO BE LEGALY REGISTERED to the person who brought the motorcycle(s), to TMC, to be placed for auction. PROOF OF OWNERSHIP has to be shown at the time the motorcycle is brought in to TMC by a third party.
